Background of Muksudpur upazila

Muksudpur upazila of Gopalganj district was established on 15 July 1918 with 18 unions. After the publication of the gazette notification on 21 September of that year, the activities of Muksudpur police station were officially started from 1 January 1918. Muksudpur upazila is bounded on the north by Nagarkanda and Saltha, on the south by Kashiani upazila, on the west by Boalmari upazila, on the east by Rajoir and Bhanga upazilas.
